Fat Charlies officially opened in the village of Richfield October 2010, becoming a favorite watering hole for the locals  with the tag line - where the food is lousy and the beer is warm. Fat Charlies became a charming little bar full of sarcasm and quick wit in a world where sarcasm is a dying art.

Like any small business we have endured some roadblocks, and challenges. The pandemic has certainly proved to be a wild ride, and navigating it was a big challenge, but a challenge I felt may have been behind us. Now currently finding and keeping good employees with a service heart has proven impossible and se we regret to inform you that as of Thursday, July 1st, Fat Charlie's will permanently close its doors.

I would like to thank the thousands of customers that we have served and the many employees that have helped us over the past 10 1/2 years. It has been fun making new friends.

All SHAKE & DRAWING money will be donated to The American Cancer Society and The Washington County Humane Society.

Please continue to patronize and support locally owned and operated small businesses. They desperately need your help. I will miss seeing all of your loyal customers that have become close friends and I hope to see you around town helping support those that manage to stay afloat during this trying time.

Always be classy, sassy, and a little smart assy.
